The Ascot Vale Leisure Centre is a thriving community hub that attracts more than 500,000 visits per year and plays a vital role in keeping the community socially, mentally and physically active. As part of the MVCC Leisure Strategy 2013 – 23, we aim to optimise our leisure spaces to meet multiple users' needs and provide welcoming, safe spaces for the community to utilise, engage and socialise.
We are in the process of creating a welcoming, safe environment at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre which will include the relocation of the turnstiles from the entry and introduction of new control points to the health club and aquatic areas. This project will aim to;
- Provide a welcoming, safe environment for the community to engage, socialise and utilise public spaces
- Improve access to the community lounge, café, pop-up library, creche and health clinic
- Improve access to public amenities
We are seeking community feedback to help shape the community outcomes associated with café services, retail opportunities and additional use of spaces in the foyer area of the Ascot Vale Leisure Centre. By providing your feedback, you will be helping us understand community priorities, issues and ideas to make our centre a better place to visit. Follow the link below to fill out our survey.
